Rita Sherma, Ph.D., Executive Director of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Taksha Institute, Hampton, VA, and the President of the Institute For Theology Beyond Boundaries, comments: "Your gift is the offering of mystic poetry---- it is rare and valuable and can really help people ! Your poetry is truly inspired --both Interlude and Crossing Over flow like water and wash right through the reader." Rassouli , international artist and book collaborator with Michael Beckwith , responds: "I like your poetry. It is ecstatic and free. Amazing! Rumi seems to love to find an open channel and set another heart on fire. His energy comes pouring through you and is channeled. Wow! You are on fire....flowing with the love you have discovered within your own heart. Your poetry is stream of consciousness... that is what happens when the love is set loose.....these are your love letters. You seem to be charged with the lightning coming through you....just like Rumi feels the lightning through his lips. And....the beautiful thing is, we are falling in love with our own expanding freedom.......” Author of Row, Row, Row Your Boat: A Guide for Living Life in the Divine Flow, Steven Lane Taylor, says: “Here is a book that truly rises above the intellect. It is written from the heart, and goes straight to the heart, penetrating it deeply. May this heartfelt journal of poetry and prose enhance your own personal journey of spiritual awakening—of being and becoming.” Author of For the Aspiring Mystic, and R everend of Unity Church of Sedona, AZ, Mark Pope responds: “Cynthia Clayton is in service to the radical spiritual awakening that is accelerating amongst us today. Her book, The Being & Becoming Book, seems to me a collection of pointers to this unflawed, unrestricted essence, which is our truest nature... the awakening to which is freedom from domination by the little, needy, fictitious self that had imprisoned so many of us. Read it and see what happens.” Deborah Rozman, Ph.D., HeartMath and Global Coherence Project spokeswoman on heart intelligence, stress in these changing times, and heart-based living, comments: “I agree with you. The shift is about the opening of the heart into the next dimension of intelligence and love and translating that into the 3 rd dimension with active care, compassion and appreciation, bringing light to people in stress.” "This is beautiful. Loved, chewed and digested every word and feeling. Could not have come at a better time - it's all Divine." "My Dearest, Dearest Cindy, You are magnificent! My heart is just overflowing with gratitude for your presence in my life. I feel so honored when I receive, read, and absorb the messages you convey so beautifully. It takes my breath away. You guide me in appreciating and blessing everything and every moment in my daily living. With deep love and affection," "I've had a very positive visit to your website ....a nice way to wake up....I put your site in my favorites and will visit it for inspiration when I start sliding back into doubt and fear.... Thanks Again!" "Thanks Cindy...I needed this so much. Peace!" “As I read your beautiful words of Love and Light, I thought my heart would burst with love for you and the Universe. I am filled with gratitude for your sweet presence in my life. Amor," "Cindy, I feel you growing into yourself in such a beautiful way. Thanks for being you. Feeling your touch with spirit allows me light to see mine. Lots of Love," "Good job James Twyman...I mean Wayne Dyer...I mean Cindy Clayton. When are the self-help DVD's comin' out? You go Girl!" “This reflection’s theme seems more about balance than the others. This really resonates with me because I have such a problem with just accepting and surrendering. As a policy of living, acceptance and surrender by themselves feel the same as doing nothing.” “Dearest Pilgrim Cindy, There are no words I can possibly come up with to describe the sheer joy within my heart that your writings convey to me. I have read and re-read your last two emails, and with each reading, another nugget of rain water falls into my empty pot. Wow - so many words of sheer wisdom that came through so loud and strong.” “You are so gracious and generous to share your thoughts and experiences with us. Thank you, you are indeed a perfect example of a Being, being.” Author of Dancing With The Divine: Unleashing Your Inner Magnificence, and Reverend of The Center of Religious Science, Delta, CO, Robert Spinden responds: “Inspirational and insightful. Cindy offers a thought provoking poetic ride through her personal reflections and experiences. A very enjoyable journey.” Reverend Michael J. Brooks comments: “I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Being & Becoming Book. The writings are filled with inspiration and deserve more than just one reading. I would recommend that this book be read a piece at a time. I have found in doing this, my own being and becoming was assisted by these wonderful expressions of light. Thank you!” Rev. Beverly Parks, Ph.D., Metaphysical Science and Psychology, says: “When you read this book, be prepared for a spiritual pilgrimage into yourself through the words of the author. Cynthia Clayton is without a doubt a genius in her interpretation of life and the pursuit of true happiness.” Recently I backpacked for 3 days alone in the wilderness, and readers loved my reflection. Here are some responses. “You are now my hero... this is the real stuff...” “I've backpacked Europe a couple of times alone but I've never braved the wilderness alone. I applaud you! I'm inspired by your awesome moxy.” “Pai hoki (really good) to see you honoring your Spirit medicine.” “Thank you for sharing your amazing journey. You are brave and courageous.” “What an experience! And may I commend you on your bravery! I love wilderness and hiking but backpacking – especially alone – that is amazing.” I have also begun wandering in the local forest. Not just my usual short walks, but for much of the day. The final stories and reflections of my second book are coming to me there. A friend who wandered as a child in the Painted Desert Wilderness in which I went backpacking, who I hope begins to wander again, just a bit, says: “Growing up as a kid it was hard to keep me in the house. I felt free to be me when I was out in a new place with nothing but my dog and a canteen, and what ever I decided to put in my pockets that day. If my mom would have known how many miles I was really wandering each day she would have put a stop to it! I guess that I have kinda left that part of me behind. Thank you for reminding me about this. These are good aspects of myself that I have forgotten. I am so grateful. I now claim my blessings that I once left behind. Thanks so much for helping me to shine light on this part of my life.” KEEP SENDING YOUR RESPONSES TO cindyclayton@experiencebeing.com or simply reply to the Weekend Reflections.
